Don't understand what's going on
Woke up this morning,
All the hurt was gone
This is a new beginning
I'm back in the land of the living

A FEW WORDS ABOUT LOVE

"You're miserable when you got it and miserable when you don't."

Love is characteristic of throat lumps, knotted stomaches, weak knees, temporary loss of language, sweaty palms, fever, diarrhea, occasional burning sensations when urinating, dizzyness, sneezing, fainting, uncontrollable itches, occasional nausea and, of course, insanity. History clearly illustrates this. Can we ever forget the face that launched a thousand ships? Federally expressing Van Gogh's ear? The construction of The Taj Mahal? How about the Trojan Horse and the Abdication of Edward VIII? No price is high enough for love.

Let it be stated here that love is not a gourmet dish, a pet, or the latest fad. Love is not the best kept secret at the Pentagon. Love is not another seasoning on the spice rack. Love is not to be confused with masking tape.

Furthermore, love is not exclusive. Love is not a pizza pie. There isn't a limited amount of love to be divided into slices and passed around until you are all out of love. On the contrary, the more you love, the more you can love. The heart expands... enough to shelter more than one person with the same intensity and even simultaneously... maybe even several people, depending on the size of the heart.

Now, love is a great companion to late evening thunder storms on hot July nights. Love goes well with cold fried chicken on picnic blankets. Love is a warm puppy. Love is getting a gift when you are not expecting one. Love is a great unselfish gesture. Love is doing something you don't feel like doing without being asked to. Love is the primary reason why novels, pop songs, summer movies and greeting cards sell. Many houses have been built... and burned... because of love.

When expressed love can evoke laughter, pleasure, pain, anger, disgust, pride, lust, and virtually any wave of reaction. However, love also can be confused with feelings of indigestion and gas. And more often than not, it is.
