I have a friend who's got a new boyfriend... and the guy is really really trying to win her over... he's very special with her... calls her all the time... buys her gifts, takes her to Disneyland, and even tries to get acquainted with her culture without prejudice... and with every little thing he does... she always tells me... "he's earning points... he's earning points"...

A couple of days ago I asked her how many points he had already earned and how many points he still needed to earn... she said he had many many points and that the good thing here is that those points were reedemable... so the more he earned, the more he could reedem!!!

That is a fair system.

The problem is that when you have more points that you could ever imagine but you are not allowed to redeem them... it's like you can see the top of the mountain but you just can't reach it... you're the fastest runner but you're not allowed to win... it's just not fair... and no one ever is to blame.

This is a complicated games... the home team has certain rules and the visiting team has different rules... the ideal situation is that sometimes the game is played with the home team rules and sometimes with the visiting team rules... to me, that is the only thing that is fair... however, that hasn't happened for the longest time... and it's time for a change.
