Saturday.

Mood: A bit hungry, tired, horny
Listening to: "Finisterra" by Mago de Oz

Well, after a long and tired week
I deserve to wake up a little late from time to time
And so I did... at about 10 AM
First time I've done that in ages...
And you know what? That felt really good.

While still on bed,
I turned on the TV and "The Blues Brothers" was on...
Not the 2000 crap with a fat Dan Aykroyd and that guy from Rosanne...
The original Belushi-Aykroyd chase fest... cool!!

Jumped on the shower, got dressed...
Had a slice of white bread with chocolate spread for breakfast
Then, went outside to get the car ready for our Saturday routine
On my way back,
I decided to clean up the mailbox outside my apartment..
And lo and behold... I found 4 lizard eggs!!!
I went back inside and found me
A long neck spoon to scoop them out
I got 3 of them out of the mailbox successfully...
But, wouldn't you know it?,
the last one broke on me... and hatched!!!!

As the baby lizard started to come out of the shell..
I shrieked like a woman who has just seen a rat...
And my son, who had just been watching the entire operation
From the top the stairs, just burst out laughing...

So now I have a newly born lizard in my mailbox
And lost all respect from my two-and-a-half-year old... great!!!

After that, we all went to a mall for lunch...
Had me a nice bunch of Tacos al Pastor...
And headed straight to Libreria Internacional

There, I discovered something...
The new Harry Potter book...
"Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince"
is finally coming out next weekend... YAY!!!
I couldn't believe it!!!
I'd been impatientilly waiting for about 2 years for that
Well... me and the rest of the world.. he he he

Of course, it won't be cheap...
13.000 colones they tell me...
Don't know where I'm going to get the money from...
But I'll get it - even if I have to sell blood or sperm for it

Then, I checked out the new Reyli CD... "En la Luna"
Wow!!! Amazing!!! What a voice this guy has!!!
I also listened to the new ones from Shakira and System of a Down...
Good, but not as good as I expected.

I'm really looking forward to "The Fantastic 4"
When I was a child, I was obssesed with them...
They were my favorite superheroes
Along with Captain Marvel (you know... the SHAZAM! guy!)
So, I can't wait...

I would also really like to see "War of the Worlds"
At college, I wrote an in-depth analysis of the book by HG Wells
And have always been fascinated by the Orson Wells stunt
And the recording project by Jeff Wayne...
Therefore, I am really really curious about this movie...

On our way to the Supermarket from the Mall...
I stopped by the video club...
Rented "Batman Begins" on DVD...
Don't ask and neither did I...
Great movie -
Easily trumps all previous versions of the Dark Knight

Throughout the day I kept on checking my phone
for text messages or voice mall....
I knew that there would be none....
But I don't know... I guess I'm just silly...
Finally, I gave up at about 7 pm...

Later, I watched a movie called "I Am David"
Amazing heart-warming story... Made me cry...
And my son laughed at me again...

shit!!!...

So the day ends with a few rough edges...
The wife tried to pick a fight with me...
But I ignored her and that was that...
In a few minutes, I will put the kid to bed...
Shouldn't be hard 'cause
He has been jumping, running and munching on pizza all day...

Later, I might get on-line to see who's there...
Or I may just do a little Saturday night zapping...
There might be some soft porn on...
Either way, gotta go...
