NIFOC

Don't understand what's going on
Woke up this morning,
All the hurt was gone
This is a new beginning
I'm back in the land of the living

MY LIBRARY

I sit every night in front of my pc to write my blogs. Right next to me, I have my sidekicks: my trusty unicorn (the horny-corn), my Dogbert (ruler of the Universe) and my owl key-chain. And to my back, there lies a wall full of books... my joy and pride... my own personal library.

There you will find about 75 books on every subject related to the Teaching of English: Methodology & Training, Second Language Acquisition, Pronunciation, Writing, Grammar, Syntax, Syllabus Design, Pragmatic Research, Discourse Analysis, Multiple Intelligences, First language development, etc.

Also, you will find about 30 books on the search for the historical Jesus. Some of the titles include: The Urantia Book, Jesus Lived in India, The Other Life of Jesus, The Lost Years of Jesus Revealed, the Lies of the Catholic Church, Jesus and the Mortal Secret of the Templars, etc.

There is also an interesting section on classic literature: World Folktales, Legends from around the world, Shakespeare, Mark Twain, Sophocles, Ibsen, O'Neal, Tenessee Williams, Faulkner, D.H. Lawrence... I have a very interesting collection of short stories that includes Ghost Stories, Great Short Stories by American Women and the most interesting cases of Sherlock Homes. On this section, you will also find all the Harry Potter books, the Lord of the Rings, some books by Paulo Coelho, Garcia Marquez, and a lot of Costa Rican and Latinamerican literature.

Of course, I have other things as well that may not fall on any of the previous categories. The most interesting titles are: The Book of Questions, The Book of Sense and Non-sense puzzles, the Everything Trivia Book, the Great Works of Frida Kahlo, Chicano Grafitti & Murals, The Best Book of Lists ever, about a dozen Snoopy books, some books on Origami, several cookbooks, 5 books from Dr. Seuss, aboout 6 Chicken Soup for the Soul books, some books on Computer Programming, a Champaing/Urbana Phone Book, lots of books on the Teaching of Spanish as a Second Language, lots of Travel Guides and Road atlas, tons of dictionaries and several movie guides.
